In conjunction with the Bipartisan Working Group to End Domestic Violence and as part of YWCA’s annual Week Without Violence, YWCA USA invites you to a Congressional Briefing on Thursday, October 18 at 9:30 A.M. in the Capitol Visitors Center, Room CVC 268.  In this briefing, YWCA local leaders who provide direct services and support to survivors will share their frontline experiences. We will also highlight three specific bills that Congress can pass NOW to protect women, meet survivors’ needs, and prevent gender-based violence – at home, at work, in school, and in our communities.
