What Can Congress Do to Improve Global Nuclear Security?

  • 2172 Rayburn House Office Building (map)

Dear Colleague,

As co-chairs of the Congressional Nuclear Security Working Group, we would like to remind you of the following for a lunch briefing to address the state of global nuclear security. Please see the invitation, which you should have received by now, below.

What Can Congress Do to Improve Global Nuclear Security?

Please join the Partnership for a Secure America, the Arms Control Association, and the Hudson Institute for a lunch briefing to address the state of global nuclear security. Alarmed by nuclear smuggling and terrorist efforts to acquire WMD, world leaders have strengthened security of dangerous materials but theft, trafficking, and terrorism remain potent problems. This third and final briefing of The Nuclear Security Forum will review past global efforts to secure nuclear materials, and discuss what Congress can do to improve these critical efforts.
