Carbon Capture Technology Update and Innovative Uses of Captured Carbon

  • 2322 Rayburn House Office Building (map)

On behalf of the Coal Caucus and Chairman David McKinley, P.E., I would like to extend an invitation to a staff briefing being held on Wednesday, October 24th at 10:00 am. The topic of the briefing is carbon capture technologies and innovative uses of captured carbon.

Carbon capture R&D and the many applications of carbon are very important topics for many Members of Congress and will play a large role in a clean energy future. There will be a panel at the briefing to discuss this topic, including speakers from the Department of Energy, ClearPath, the Carbon Capture Coalition (represented by ArcelorMittal) and Zerronox. This briefing is open to all, and your boss does not have to be a member of the Coal Caucus to attend.

WHAT: Staff meeting re: carbon capture and utilization

WHEN: Wednesday, October 24, 10:00-11:00 am

WHERE: 2322 Rayburn House Office Building

This will be a very interesting and informative discussion, so I hope you will be able to attend. Please RSVP to Brian.Garand@mail.house.gov if you plan to attend or if you have any questions.
