Background: Nielsen in conjunction with the Multicultural Media Caucus (MMC) will hold congressional briefing to showcase its latest report insights on the habits and purchasing power of the African American consumer. The theme of the panel, “Forging The Future: Trendsetting Digital Adopters, Public Policy, And  Social Change,” will focus on the “digital” aspect of the behavior of multicultural consumers. The purpose of this event is to show the importance of understanding consumer behaviors in diverse communities so that policymakers can make informed decisions.
