Join the U.S. Naval Institute for a conference to discuss "The Return of Great Power Competition: What are the Keys to Maintaining Competitive Advantage?" Senior DoD leaders and Congressmen will gather for a half-day event at the Newseum in Washington, D.C.
The Hon. Robert O. Work, former Deputy Secretary of Defense (2014-2017), will discuss whether or not the United States has the capability, capacity, and readiness levels necessary to compete in the high-end fight.
Veronica Daigle, Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for Readiness will to share insights into steps the DoD is taking to ensure the United States is equipped with the manpower, equipment, and technology to succeed against great power competitors.
Congressmen Rob Wittman (R-VA) and Joe Courtney (D-CT), members of the House Committee on Armed Service; Seapower and Projection Forces Subcommittee; and co-chairs, Congressional Shipbuilding Caucus, will to share perspectives from both sides of the aisle on the keys to competing globally.
