Pay for Success: Making the New $100 Million Fund Work to Improve Lives

  • G50 Dirksen Senate Office Building (map)

Thursday, June 21, 2018
Dirksen Senate Office Building - Room G50
4:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. (Reception to follow)

Reception to follow. Space is limited. RSVP today.

The Bipartisan Budget Act of 2018 created a new $100 million Pay for Success fund at the U.S. Department of Treasury. The fund will direct federal resources to states and local communities to support evidence-based solutions that tackle big social challenges, with government paying providers only when outcomes are achieved. Over the past decade, this pay-for-outcomes approach has been tested in states and communities across the country; we believe their experience can and should inform this exciting new federal initiative.

Join us for a thoughtful conversation with U.S. Senator Orrin Hatch (R-UT) and other federal, state, local, and private sector leaders about what it will take to make this largest-ever federal Pay for Success fund as successful as possible. And please join us after the briefing for a reception celebrating the leaders and organizations who have advanced Pay for Success all across the country over the last decade.
