Michael Anton is a lecturer and research fellow at Hillsdale College’s Allan P. Kirby, Jr. Center for Constitutional Studies and Citizenship. He received a B.A. from the University of California at Davis, an M.A.L.A. from St. John’s College, Annapolis, and an M.A. in government from Claremont Graduate University. Prior to joining Hillsdale College, he served in the Trump administration as Deputy Assistant to the President for Strategic Communications. He has written for numerous publications, including The Washington PostThe Wall Street Journal, the Weekly Standard, and the Claremont Review of Books.
