The Committee on House Administration is excited to announce the 2019 Congressional Summer Intern Lecture Series (ILS)!
Each summer, the Committee on House Administration and the Senate Committee on Rules and Administration invite prominent leaders from their respective fields to speak to Congressional interns on a variety of topics ranging from policy discussions on current issues to insights gained from the speakers’ professional experiences.
This year, ILS will commence on June 3, 2019, and will extend through August 2, 2019. Each lecture will last approximately one hour. The upcoming week’s schedule of speakers will be available at the end of the week, beginning on Friday, May 31, 2019.
House interns must present their Congressional ID to attend a lecture. Interns are expected to respect the off-the-record nature of ILS. That means no video, audio, or photography will be permitted. Interns will be required to sign-in and entrance is permitted on a first-come, first-served basis until capacity.
