Please mark your calendars on Thursday, February 14th for this year's first meeting of Space Advocates. We'll be having a “Space 101” discussion with Paul Stimers of K&L Gates, a policy advocate and expert in the commercial spaceflight and space exploration industry.
Many of us, including those who have worked in space policy for years, have fundamental misconceptions about space and how it works. In this session we will dive into and address many of these misconceptions in a friendly and accessible way, followed by a robust question and answer session.
For those of you new to the group, Space Advocates, a Congressional Staff Organization, is a non-partisan, staff-led group that promotes awareness of space and aeronautical issues through monthly events and other efforts.
