An educational event for members of Congress, congressional staff, and interested members of the public

Two notable climate experts, Dr. Kerry Emanuel and Dr. Karl Hausker, will give an update on the state of the climate crisis and the IPCC's modeling of pathways to decarbonization. Documentary filmmaker David Schumacher will describe his motivations for filming The New Fire as well as audience reactions to the film, and will show the trailer. Finally, Caroline Cochran and Chris Levesque, leaders from two next-generation nuclear technology companies, will describe their companies' goals and current status. Audience Q&A will follow.
