Join Organic Trade Association CEO Laura Batcha for a moderated discussion and Q&A with farmers featured in the recent National Geographic Article, “We don’t have enough organic farms. Why not?” Come hear from life-long, newly transitioning, and young organic farmers on the challenges they face. We will explore and expand on some of the issues raised in the article, including closing the gap between consumer demand and domestic acreage, farmer succession and labor issues, and challenges in transitioning to organic farming.
