Fulfilling Our Promise to Lower Prescription Drug Prices: How to Respond to Big Pharma’s Innovation Argument

  • 210 Cannon House Office Building (map)

Please RSVP if your boss and/or a member of your staff can attend this briefing HERE.

House Democrats have returned to Washington with a mandate: to protect the pocketbooks of the American people by reining in soaring health care costs, particularly prescription drug prices.  Join the House Affordable Prescription Drug Task Force for an important briefing on fulfilling our promise and responding to the scare tactics Big Pharma is using to obstruct any meaningful action.

Location: 210 Cannon

Time: Thursday, March 7, 2-3pm

Panelists:

  • Robin Feldman, Director of the Institute for Innovation Law, UC Hastings School of Law

  • Ameet Sarpatwari, Assistant Director of the Program on Regulation, Therapeutics, and Law (PORTAL), Harvard Medical School

  • Amy Kapczynski, Co-Director of the Global Health Justice Partnership, Yale Law School

The House Affordable Prescription Drug Task Force was founded in 2015 to advance legislative and administrative solutions to lower the cost of prescription drugs.  To learn more about the Task Force and our work, please contact Afton Cissell on Rep. Doggett’s staff (Afton.Cissell@mail.house.gov; 5-4865) or Isaac Loeb on Rep. Welch’s staff (Isaac.Loeb@mail.house.gov; 5-4115).

Please RSVP if your boss and/or a member of your staff can attend this briefing HERE.

Best,
