The Campaign for Housing and Community Development Funding (CHCDF) will present an overview of President Trump’s FY20 funding request for the Departments of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) and how it would impact families who receive federal housing assistance.
Panelists include people with policy and lived experience. They will provide perspectives on the budget request and how the proposed funding levels would influence key programs, a local overview on the effect of federal resources on affordable housing and community development programs, and one resident’s experience with rental assistance and how it has impacted her life.
