I invite you attend an upcoming congressional panel discussion entitled “Winning the EMS: Assessing the Future of USMC SIGINT,” on Thursday, April 11 in 2168 Rayburn House Office Building. I am the honorary host of the event and am working in cooperation with the Association of Old Crows (AOC) to bring together senior leaders from the US Marine Corps (USMC) to share perspectives and discuss developments in Information Warfare and the integration of Signals Intelligence (SIGINT), Electronic Warfare (EW), and Cyberspace Operations (CO). The following USMC senior leaders have been invited:
LtGen Lori Reynolds, Deputy Commandant for Information
Mr. Guy Jordan, Deputy Director of Intelligence, USMC
BGen (Select) Melvin Carter, JSOC J2
Col Randolph Pugh, Commanding Officer, USMC Intel Schools
MyGySgt Scott H. Stalker, Senior Enlister Leader, National Security Agency (NSA)
The US Marine Corps recognizes the predominant role of information in every future conflict. It continues to modernize its EW capabilities for expeditionary maritime operations and prepare the MAGTF to maneuver in complex information environments. The event will provide an opportunity to showcase how the USMC is building its information warfare enterprise across Organization, Technology, Readiness and Support – ultimately preparing our warfighters for victory.
The event will begin at 0830 until 1000. This is an unclassified and widely-attended event open to the military, government and industry. Immediately following the panel discussion, I invite you to an Industry Solutions Forum (ISF) in the Rayburn House Office Building Foyer that will showcase how industry is responding to SIGINT capability and technology requirements of the USMC.
