Hate Crimes and the Rise of White Nationalism 2.0

On April 9th, the House Judiciary Committee hosted a hearing titled “Hate Crimes and the Rise of White Nationalism.” The hearing helped bring attention to the increase in hate crimes and the rise in white nationalism that we are seeing across the country. This briefing will focus specifically on legislative responses and solutions. Panelists will discuss the impact of hate crimes and white nationalism on communities, and outline policy recommendations and legislative responses that can address the crisis of hate.

Join the Lawyers’ Committee for Civil Rights Under Law on Thursday, April 25th from 3:00 – 4:30 PM for a panel conversation that shines a light on the impact of increased hate crimes and the rise in white supremacy on targeted communities. Panelists will provide policy recommendations to help combat hate crimes and the rise in white supremacy, as well as specific recommendations to address the proliferation of hate on internet platforms.
