Passport Day on the Hill

Members of Congress, Congressional Staffers, support employees, and their family members may apply for or renew their passport book or passport card without making an appointment.

Applicants must apply-in person and come prepared with the following items:

  • Completed applications (fill out online at travel.state.gov)

  • Citizenship evidence (e.g. previous passport if you are renewing, or birth certificate or naturalization certificate if you are applying for the first time)

  • Government-issued photo identifications

  • Photocopy of citizenship evidence and photo identification

  • 2" x 2” passport photo

  • Application fee payment (use check or money order for guaranteed processing, credit and debit accepted as Wi-Fi connection permits)

To apply for your child’s passport, the child and all parents listed on their birth certificate must be present. For a list of exceptions, visit travel.state.gov/passport/children
