SweatNGlow in collaboration with Congressman Tim Ryan invite you to a panel discussion about mindfulness and the benefits of yoga.

How Far Do We Need to go to be in the Present Moment?

Tuesday, April 30th 9:30-11:30 AM

121 Cannon

Leading experts discuss how yoga brings communities of like-minded people together with a common interest – to simply improve their lives.  The panel will also discuss nutrition, the benefits of hot yoga as effective Medication Assisted Therapy for types 1 and 2 diabetes, how it brings wellbeing for cancer patients, and the support it can provide in treatment of opioid use disorders.

Panel discussion will be followed by a 60-minute unheated SweatNGlow Hatha Yoga class (2 breathing exercises / 26 postures). Mats and water will be provided.

Petra Starke will lead a 60-minute yoga session. The yoga will not be overly exertive given that it is a session day, but please dress accordingly.
