Connected Health Demo & Reception
When: 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2019
Where: Rayburn Foyer
Now more than ever, innovation is changing healthcare delivery for the better. Care continues outside the doctor’s office with patient-provider messaging, while wearable and remote monitoring technologies flag potential concerns. When there’s a red flag but patients are far from the caregiver or can’t travel, the doctor can come to them through telehealth and online consultations. Meanwhile, in the doctor’s office strides are being made towards clinical data sharing to better predict what patients need when. Overall, these connected health technologies are detecting illnesses earlier, reducing recovery times, and improving patient outcomes—all outside of the four walls of a doctor’s office.
On May 16, leading connected health companies will demo some of the cutting-edge technologies that are revolutionizing how doctors and patients interact and share information. Learn how technologies like wearable devices and apps to manage chronic conditions are empowering patients and transforming healthcare.
Exhibitors include BioTelemetry, Diasyst, Digital360Health, Doctor On Demand, eMedicalSentry, IBM, American Medical Association’s Integrated Health Model Initiative, Life365, LifeWIRE, One Healthcare Solution, Particle Health, and RxLive.
Refreshments will be provided. This is a widely attended event.
This event is open to the press.
