The National Health Care for the Homeless Council is hosting a briefing/panel discussion to highlight the innovative approaches homeless health care providers use to treat substance use disorders and the barriers their clients face when escaping addiction. Health Care for the Homeless programs provide culturally competent primary care, behavioral health treatment, and supportive services to over 1 million people experiencing homelessness each year.
