The Caspian Policy Center cordially invites you to attend the Special Congressional Briefing on the Trans-Caspian Region on Wednesday, May 22, 2019.
The Ambassadors from Afghanistan, Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan to the United States will lead the event by providing short statements, and senior government representatives from the nations will follow in a panel discussion on corridors, connectivity, and cooperation between the U.S. Government and the Greater Caspian Region.
The discussion will be led by Ambassador (ret.) Richard E. Hoagland — previous Ambassador to Kazakhstan and Tajikistan. The event will bring together Congressional members and staff, as well as top representatives from academia, the private sector, and think tanks.
The briefing will take place on May 22 between 9:30- 11:30 am, in the House Foreign Affairs Committee Room 2255 on Capitol Hill.
