Please join the Congressional Foster Youth Caucus and the Baby Caucus for a briefing on “Infant-Toddler Court Teams: Supporting Foster Families in the Time of Opioids”. We welcome Congressional staff, interns, and advocacy groups to engage with the following speakers for a discussion of how innovations in infant-toddler court teams have addressed increased referrals to the foster care system on American families, notably those affected by the opioids epidemic.

  • Darneshia Bell – Senior Technical Assistance Specialist, National Infant-Toddler Court Program (ITCP)

  • Pauline Green – Graduated Parent of Safe Babies Court Team

  • Judge William R. Anderson, III – Juvenile Court Judge, Grundy County, Tennessee

  • Janie Huddleston – Director, National Infant-Toddler Court Program (ITCP)

I would be honored if you or a member of your staff can join us for this timely discussion. For more information, please contact Alanna Purdy (Alanna.Purdy@mail.house.gov) in my office.
