Briefing on Protecting Vulnerable Girls and Young Women

  • 2103 Rayburn House Office Building (map)

2103 RHOB
Thursday, May 9th
9:30 am- 10:30 am

Please join me for a briefing in coordination with Pace Center for Girls on May 9, 2019 from 9:30 am - 10:30 am.

Pace Center for Girls is a nationally-recognized organization that provides more than 3,000 girls annually with an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training, and advocacy. Their research-based prevention model has a proven record in their 21 centers in Florida, where they offer cutting edge education and wraparound services for girls and young women deemed at risk of trafficking or entering the juvenile justice system.

Please join us to discuss the role of comprehensive services in supporting and protecting vulnerable girls and young women, Pace’s recent expansion into Georgia, and lessons for prevention and intervention strategies nationwide.

Presenters will include the following Pace Center for Girls representatives:

  • Mary Marx, President & CEO, Pace Center for Girls

  • Mikheala Jennings, Pace alumnae from Jacksonville, Florida

  • Renee McQueen, Senior Director of Social Services, Pace Center for Girls
