Recruiting, Retaining, and Capitalizing on Foreign Students at U.S. Universities

  • 188 Russell Senate Office Building (map)

Join the Niskanen Center for a breakfast briefing — Recruiting, Retaining, and Capitalizing on Foreign Students at U.S. Universities — sponsored by Senator Jerry Moran (R-KS) on the economic contributions of international students on Monday, June 17, 2019 in the Russell Senate Office Room 188 from 10 to 11am (doors open at 9:30 for breakfast).

Our panel of speakers includes Jeremy L. Neufeld, Niskanen Center; Rachel H. Banks, NAFSA: Association of International Educators; and Meredith Singer, Government and Regulatory Affairs Executive at IBM. The experts will discuss how foreign students contribute to innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic growth in the United States, and examine the latest policy developments. For more information, see our agenda.

For more on international students, please read Jeremy L. Neufeld’s economic analysis of the OPT program and Niskanen’s policy brief.

Feel free to forward the invitation to others who may be interested, and please RSVP by Friday June 14, 2019 with mlacorte@niskanencenter.org.
