Learn about topics like mindfulness, sustainable planting, healthy cooking, skin care, and more with the House Wellness Center at the Well-Being Fair on Monday, June 24, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Rayburn Foyer. All employees of the House, including House Officer organizations and the Congressional Budget Office, as well as employees of the Architect of the Capitol and the U.S. Capitol Police are welcome to attend.
Stop by and meet representatives from House organizations and community partners. Enjoy activities such as:
Mindfulness sessions with the Office of Employee Assistance
Sustainable planting with the U.S. Botanic Garden
Healthy cooking demos with the House food service provider
Skin care awareness with a DermaScan and the ‘Hydration Station’
Seated massages and blood pressure checks
Healthy snacks, giveaways, raffle prizes, and much more!
Additionally, representatives from health benefits providers, the Thrift Savings Plan, and other vendors will be at the Fair with information and exhibits to help motivate and educate employees about how to adopt a healthier and happier lifestyle.
