Please join C-TAC for the First Annual National Policy Forum to Improve Advanced Illness Care.

Date: Wednesday, June 5, 2019, 9:00 - 12:00 p.m.

(A light breakfast buffet will be available at 8:30 a.m.)


C-TAC’s First Annual National Policy Forum will convene diverse stakeholders in Washington, D.C. to engage, educate, and advocate for higher-quality advanced illness care for all Americans. C-TAC will officially release its national agenda at this first-of-its-kind event. The goal of the Forum is to raise awareness and push congressional and administration officials to improve advanced illness care payment and delivery. Emphasis will be placed on exploring emerging policy and advocacy solutions to drive progress on key issues, including: 

- Payment
- Care delivery
- Advance care planning
- Community-based support & services

8:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m.: Coffee and Light Breakfast Buffet

9:00 a.m.: Program Begins

9:15 a.m.: Opening keynote remarks by members of Congress:

- Senator Bill Cassidy (R-LA)
- Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV)
- Representative Earl Blumenauer (D-OR)
