A New European Parliament – How Will EU-US Relations Change?

By now, you should have received an invitation from the European Parliament Office in Washington DC inviting you to a discussion on “A New European Parliament – How Will EU-US Relations Change?” taking place June 6, at 4pm in 2172 Rayburn.  The event will focus on the outcomes of the recent European Union (EU) elections and the future of US-EU relations. 

Speakers will include:              

  • Congressman Alcee L. Hastings, Chairman, Helsinki Commission 

  • Stavros Lambrinidis, Ambassador of the European Union to the United States

  • Heather A. Conley, Senior Vice President for Europe, Eurasia, and the Arctic and Director, Europe Program, Center for Strategic and International Studies

  • Daniel Hamilton, Austrian Marshall Plan Foundation Professor at Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies

  • Kathleen R. McNamara, Professor of Government & Vice Dean, School of Foreign Service, Georgetown University

  • Antoine Ripoll, Director, European Parliament Liaison Office

  • Paul Adamson, Chairman of Forum Europe
